* By the end of December, 2018, the list of movies that I had watched (in their entirety) orįinally recalled reached 1,000! So, it took nearly 20 years for my list to reach that point but,Įven then, I'm sure there were still a few hundred that I hadn't recalled that were still missing. Anyway, for this page I was able, pretty quickly, to recall almost a third of the movies that I've seen so far. In my case, I was a regular attendant at the Banff Mountain Film Festival in Denver, Radical Reels, and the Backcountry Film Festival over the years - each featuring countless short feature films that were simply too numerous for me to have recorded here. Also, if you're like me, you may have attended a few film festivals over the years.

So, although the page will never be able to reflect my entire movie going experience it should provide a glimpse of what I enjoy and what I don't - maybe helping you decide if your tastes are similar to mine?ġ,000 Movies probably sounds like a lot but just think of all the flicks you've seen at school, on airplanes, or just on trips to the local theatre or even on Friday night television - not to mention all of the sequels, remakes, digitized and "colorized" versions that have come out. Like most everybody else I love movies and had probably seen nearly a thousand * of 'em by the time I decided to create this page in my late 40s (circa 2000, but I was only able to recall about half at that time.). (Including documentaries, plays, musicals, shorts, clips, and propaganda pieces!)
